Products developed by VTOL Protective Laminates were originally intended for aircraft windscreens. As these products were tested and fielded, the need to protect the displays of aircraft and aircrew equipment became apparent as well. VTOL Protective Laminates display protection films are currently used on the US Army Aviation Air Warrior Electronic Data Manager (EDM).
